Party bag styling tips by Alannah Rose Australia.

     alannah rose styling tips:

1. What are your favorite details to attach a Thank You Tag with:

I love using ribbon to attach thank you tags with, however it depends on the style of bag or box you are using and the type of look you are after.
Alternatively Tiny pegs can look smart and bakers twine can give a vintage feel. If using
ribbon, satin will give a luxurious look, or choose grosgrain for a more sophisticated style.

2. How many colours should we mix and match together when putting together a Party Bag:

Let the colours in the tag dictate. I personally like to use solid colour bags or boxes to let the tag stand out. However don't be afraid to vary the colours in the bags. ie for a Parti de Paris theme, you could have black bags and white bags all tied with the paris tags and black grosgrain ribbon. Or for a beep beep party, you could mix red and blue bags and so forth.
3. Other than a Party Bag what can you attach a Thank you Tag to:

Thank you tags can be used for so many things. If using for your party theme they can be attached to bags, noodle boxes, cake boxes, or favour gifts - ie for a fairy party you could make simple tulle tutus for guests and attach a tag to each with the child's name on it. If doing a lolly buffet tie a tag around the neck of each jar with ribbon to keep on theme.
Alannah Rose thank you tags are also perfect to keep handy in the cupboard to attach to gifts throughout the year, and they needn't just be for children - cupcakes and birds appeal to all ages, even mums! Some of our designs even lend themselves to Christmas, tie our lala bird tag to presents wrapped in deep red paper and pink ribbon for a pretty christmas theme with a twist.
4. Where should you display the Party bags at the Party?

I like to keep them up high to start with - young children can be easily distracted by party bags! I start with them lined along a windowsill in the kitchen and move them to a small table or sideboard near the door closer to the end of the party. If having an outdoor party try hanging them on string line between trees or from branches for a lovely display.
5. How much should we spend on filling a Party Bag?

Cost per party bag really is personal preference and depends on the number and age of guests -  and of course your budget! Small children in particular don't really need a huge amount of lollies in their bag (their parents will thank you) somewhere between 5-10 lollies is ample for toddlers depending on their age. For older children you could include lollipops and other age appropriate candy. I also like to include something extra in the bag. For our recent duck theme party I included a small rubber duck and some duck stickers in each bag. For a fairy party I added small bottles of fairy bubble mixture. Or for a cupcake theme party a small box with a pretty cupcake inside could be the party favour.
 7. How do you carry the party theme through to the take home party bags?
Our party favour tags are perfect for carrying through the theme of the party, simply tie them to your choice of bag or box and tie with ribbon. To carry the theme further include a small gift that matches the party theme. This could be as simple as a sticker sheet, eraser, stamp or small favour toy. (what better for a spooky party than an scary spider in the bag!)
8. Why is the tradition of a Party Bag so important?

Party Bags are the traditional way of saying thank you to little party guests for sharing in a birthday celebration. Saying thank you is always important.
9. What is the Alannah Rose style?

Alannah Rose style is simple, stylish and fun.
10. Alannah Rose Exclusive Stationery says thank you perfectly because.....

.... memorable parties should begin and end on a stylish note.
